Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Pop-up library

Every Saturday from April 16th through May 28th from 3pm to 4:30pm Pauls Stradins Medicine History Museum in collaboration with children's bookstore Vilki books organizes free activities for children from Ukraine and for everyone wishing to participate.
Children's bookstore Vilki Books has created the pop-up library with children’s books in Latvian, English, Ukrainian and Russian. During activities children together with Vilki books staff and volunteers from Latvia and Ukraine will read children's books, as well as get to know Latvia and its culture through games and other creative activities.
There is a safe zone for babies created in the pop-up library. There are also board games available for children of different ages. Children from 4 years can participate in activities without parents, under supervision of staff and volunteers.
Every Saturday we will address a different topic. Please follow the information on Facebook pages of Vilki books and MVM (Pauls Stradins Medicine History museum).
Preliminary registration is not necessary.
For citizens of Ukraine the entrance is free. For other participants the price is ticket to the Museum:
Children - 0,70 EUR
Students and seniors - 1,50 EUR
Adults - 2,50 EUR
Family ticket - 5 EUR
